The White'S Dfx Metal Detectorsis Number One

White's DFX metal Detector is simply the ultimate in metal detectors. It has a sophisticated microprocessor technology in its ability to find older, deeper and smaller treasure items that other metal detectors just skim over. It has the unsurpassed turn-on-the-go simplicity that cannot be found in other detectors. It was invented, designed and developed by the White's, the leaders in metal detectors.

    The History

Grandma and Grandpa White started metal detecting back in 1950 when the Uranium craze hit the United States. The only kind of metal detector around back then was the Geiger Counter, which everyone used at that time. Grandpa White decided that the metal detector craze might be a lucrative investment for him and so he started designing and building Geiger Counters.

Within a few years the company was flourishing and had grown to 65 people. By 1959, the U.S. government decided it would not purchase anymore uranium and, thus, it was back to the drawing board for Grandpa White. He then came up with an idea for a metal detector and proceeded to test it.

In his first outing, he came up with many old metal treasures which ultimately started his climb into the metal detector business and White's DFX Metal Detector that we have today. The name White is synonymous with metal detecting and, therefore, the world is dotted with White's Metal Detectors.

    Key Features of the DFX

White's DFX Metal Detector has several key features, one being its Multiple Frequency Operation. White's DFX Metal Detector can hunt in 3 kHz or 15 kHz and can also use both frequencies simultaneously. Best Data will display the most reliable target areas and the Correlate will reject iron and other questionable targets.

The White's DFX Metal Detector also uses EEPROM hunting programs. These programs are used specifically to name and store your own custom metal detector programs. White's DFX Metal Detector also has high definition, extended temperature displays that make it easier to see and double clock speed for fast target response.

The DFX also has a DSF Signal Filtration which will change your ground filtering from 2 filters to 6. 2, and is used for quick response in high trash areas, or 3, 4, 5 and up to 6 for superior depth in the highly mineralized grounds. It has a Hot Rock Rejection which rejects or accepts a wide range of metals. The White's DFX Metal Detector is the latest in technology for treasure hunters and should be the first metal detector that a hunter should consider using in his quest for buried treasure.
